Royal College Of Nursing Wins Over £5 Million In Compensation For Members In 2008

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) announced that it had won a record £5,061,140 in compensation for members in 2008. The compensation was awarded for Personal Injury and Employment disputes.

University Of California RNs Authorize Strike As Nurses Protest Eroding Staffing Conditions

UC Med Centers Staffing by Budget, Not Patient Need Say Nurses, Charging UC Violating State Law and Contract Registered nurses at five University of California medical centers have voted to authorize a strike, which would be the first ever strike by UC RNs, to protest what they say is an alarming decline in safe staffing conditions at the well known hospitals.

St. Rose Dominican RNs Charge SEIU And Hospital Compromised Union Election

St. Rose Dominican RNs have charged that by creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation the Service Employees International Union and Catholic Healthcare West compromised the election held at the Las Vegas and Henderson hospitals earlier this month. The RNs are calling for a new election.
