New Legionella Course Includes Hands-On Assessment Training

HC Info’s new three-day training course, “Performing High Quality Legionella Assessments,” will be held May 19-21 at the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort in Carlsbad, Calif. The course is for engineers, water treatment specialists, and industrial hygienists that want to provide Legionella assessment services for hospitals, hotels, or industrial facilities; and for public environmental health officials that investigate Legionnaires’ disease.

Internists Ask President-elect Obama To Include Aid For Primary Care In Stimulus Proposal

At the request of the presidential transition team, ideas on advancing health care reform in the stimulus package were provided today by the American College of Physicians (ACP). ACP represents 126,000 internal medicine physicians and medical student members. It is the nation’s largest medical specialty society and it is the second largest physician membership organization.
