Wall Street Journal Task Force Discusses Priorities For Health Care Overhaul

The Wall Street Journal on Monday published excerpts from a task force discussion on health care moderated by Journal reporter Laura Landro. The task force, which included health care company CEOs and lawmakers, provided recommendations to the Journal CEO Council for five priorities in health care reform for the new Obama administration and Congress.

Is Private Health Care The Answer To The Health Problems Of The World’s Poor?

A provocative debate in this week’s PLoS Medicine examines whether the private sector should step up its involvement in delivering health care in low-income countries. These countries suffer a disproportionate burden of disease, and often struggle with weak health systems.
