Rosuvastatin (Crestor) Reduced Blood Clot Risk
A large trial of the cholesterol lowering drug rosuvastatin (Crestor from AstraZeneca) showed that giving it to healthy adults reduced their risk of blood clots (venous thromboembolism) by 43 per cent.
