A Lack Of Evidence Based Policies Threatens General Practice, Warns GP Leader
The leader of Scotland’s GPs accused government of relying on politically driven targets when it should be focussed on clinically driven, evidence based policy. Addressing the Annual Conference of Scottish Local Medical Committees (LMCs), Dr Dean Marshall, chairman of the BMA’s Scottish General Practitioners Committee, spoke of the value of the Quality and Outcomes Framework of the GP contract in improving patient care.
