Interest Groups, States And Federal Agencies Debate How Stimulus Medicaid Funding Should Be Used
State and federal agencies, as well as interest groups, are debating whether funds from the recently enacted stimulus package, which includes $87 billion in increased federal Medicaid funding, are being used in ways that “violate the letter or spirit” of the bill, the Washington Post reports.
