New Method To Monitor Disease Status Of Patients With Advanced Prostate Cancer, The Lancet Oncology
Survival and response to treatment in patients with advanced prostate cancer can be predicted by assessing changes in the number of circulating tumour cells (CTCs), according to an Article published Online First and in the March issue of The Lancet Oncology. Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer to affect men, particularly in the USA and Europe. It is usually associated with individuals over the age of 50 years.
