AHIP Congratulates Senate On Passage Of SCHIP

Karen Ignagni, President and CEO of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), issued the following statement commending the U.S. Senate for voting to reauthorize and expand the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP): “Strengthening the health care safety net is an essential component of comprehensive health care reform. The Senate took a critical step forward by voting to help ensure that no child falls through the cracks of our health care system.
