PBC Gathers Momentum

The NHS Alliance is pleased with the results of the Department of Health’s practice based commissioning GP practice survey. It demonstrates that support for the policy remains strong (62% of GP practices said they support PBC*). Also, PBC is already having a practical impact on the delivery of services to patients (62% of GP practices have submitted business cases for service redesign and 56% have commissioned new services as a direct result of PBC*).
