Parents’ Reactions To Child Cancer Determined By Type
The type of cancer a child has goes a long way towards determining how his or her parents cope with the situation, according to a study from Karolinska Institutet. Parents of children treated for skeletal and brain tumours run a relatively much higher risk of becoming distressed and depressed than parents of children with other common types of cancer. Childhood cancer is always a cause of mental strain for parents.
