HEALTH Gets $4.5 Million Grant To Promote Childhood Health And Development, Rhode Island, USA

The Rhode Island Department of Health (HEALTH) today announced that it will receive more than $4.5 million from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) to support Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children’s Health). Project LAUNCH is a program aimed at promoting physical, emotional, social and behavioral health of young children in Providence and is one of only six programs to receive a grant.
