New Laws Mean Better Mental Health Care, British Psychological Society

The British Psychological Society welcomes the amendments to the 1983 Mental Health Act that came into force on 3 November 2008. Suitably competent chartered psychologists and other professionals are now able to become Approved Clinicians and have responsibility for patient care and team leadership.
