IU School Of Medicine Honors Scientist Who Revealed Immune System Secrets
An internationally recognized scientist whose work has shed light on how the body’s immune system functions will be the recipient of the Indiana University School of Medicine’s prestigious 2008 Steven C. Beering Award. Charles A. Dinarello, M.D., a professor of medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, studies small proteins that play a role in the body’s ability to fight disease.
