Accuray Incorporated (Nasdaq: ARAY), a global leader in the field of radiosurgery, announced today that it is offering a new layout for the CyberKnife® Robotic Radiosurgery System treatment vault which will enable installation of the System into most existing conventional gantry LINAC vaults. With this new, smaller footprint, hospitals will be able to save hundreds of thousands of dollars or more on construction and shielding costs, and begin treating patients more quickly.
