ORLANDO, FL (UroToday.com) - Dr. George Drach addressed issues related to care of the geriatric urology patients. There is a large increase in the population of patients over age 65 years. Common health problems in the elderly include prostate cancer as 8th most common with 10% of men affected. There are large numbers of urologic operations performed in the elderly; 40% of urinary operations and 60% of genital operations.
