Health Economic Analysis Reports That REVLIMID Is A Cost-Effective Treatment For Multiple Myeloma
Celgene Corporation (NASDAQ: CELG) announced that data presented recently at the 13th Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Copenhagen, Denmark showed that the use of REVLIMID and dexamethasone was cost-effective with the incremental cost-effectiveness threshold ranging from £20,000 to £30,000 per quality adjusted life year (QALY). This is widely considered to be an acceptable value for an additional QALY, compared to patients receiving dexamethasone alone.
