Childhood Injuries: Serious Disparities Between Affluent And Deprived
In poorer areas of England, the serious injury rates in childpedestrians are four times that of children in affluent areas,according to research released on April 1, 2008 in the BMJ specialistjournal Archives of Disease in Childhood. The researchers analyzed hospital admission rates for children 15 yearsold and younger between the years of 1999 and 2004.
