USAID Supports The Development Of India’s Health Insurance Market
The United States is providing Rs. 20 lakh (USD $50,000) in humanitarian assistance to Save the Children to assist people affected by the food shortages in Mizoram’s Saiha district.Shortages have emerged in recent weeks because the flowering of bamboo in the area has resulted in rapidly growing rat infestations in crop-growing areas. With funds provided by the United States, Save the Children will assist poor families affected by crop losses.
