Mayor Menino To Proclaim May 24 Boston Nurse-Midwifery Day At ACNM’s Inaugural Women’s Health Expo
The Women’s Health Expo at the Hynes Convention Center on Saturday, May 24, will begin at 10 a.m. with a ribbon cutting by Mayor Thomas M. Menino and an official proclamation declaring May 24 as Boston Nurse-Midwifery Day. Hosted by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM), the Women’s Health Expo is a free event for Boston women and their families. “Addressing the issues of healthcare in Boston is a top priority of my administration,” says Mayor Menino.
