MGH Participates In First-Of-Its-Kind Healthcare Equality Index

Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is proud to announce that it was one of 88 hospitals nationwide, and the only in Massachusetts, to participate in an industry-changing nationwide report about patient care for GLBT Americans - the Healthcare Equality Index (HEI). The report was compiled by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the nation’s largest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) civil rights organization, and the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association.
