European Medicines Agency (EMEA) Approves ALIMTA® (pemetrexed For Injection) For Use In Lung Cancer Treatment

OnApril 11, 2008, an announcement by Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY) indicated that European health authorities have approved theuse of ALIMTA® (pemetrexed for injection) for a histologically-baseduse in the first-line treatment of advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC), the most common form of lung cancer.
