Cynthia Nixon, who played Miranda Hobbes in the TV comedy series “Sex and the City”, in an interview during “Nightline”, a US TV show, said was diagnosed with breast cancer over 18 months ago but did not want to make it public. In fact, such was Nixon’s wish to keep the breast cancer private that she made sure her surgery did not clash with any of her acting performances.
