Annual National Public Health Week Begins - Focuses On Connection Between Climate Change And Health
Today marks the beginning of the 2008 National Public Health Week (NPHW), themed Climate Change: Our Health in the Balance. The launch of the week coincides with today’s observance of World Health Day, which also focuses on the health impacts of climate change. NPHW, which runs April 7-13, aims to raise awareness of the direct connection between climate change and human health.
