A new report from the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) reveals that 45% of residents living in a sample of Nova Scotia nursing homes displayed behavioural symptoms, including resistance to care, verbal abuse, socially inappropriate behaviour, wandering and physical abuse.
