Endo Licenses U.S. Rights For Voltaren(R) Gel — The First FDA-Approved Topical Treatment For Relief Of Osteoarthritis Pain

Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ENDP) and a market leader in pain management, announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with Novartis to obtain the exclusive U.S. marketing rights for the prescription medicine Voltaren® Gel (diclofenac sodium topical gel) 1%. Voltaren Gel received regulatory approval in October 2007 from the U.S.
