Huckabee Pledges To Remain In Presidential Race To Advocate For Federal Ban On Abortion

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) on Tuesday pledged to remain in the presidential nomination race to advocate for a constitutional ban on abortion and ensure that the ban stays on the Republican Party’s official platform, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports. “The human life amendment has been part of our party’s platform” since 1980, Huckabee said at a news conference in Little Rock, Ark.
