Report Deems Pharmacists Successful Providers Of Patient Care Services, USA
Pharmacists reimbursed for patient care services in a recent Minnesota Medicaid program successfully resolved nearly 800 drug therapy problems, according to recent report on the program. The Minnesota Medication Therapy Management Care Program involved 34 pharmacists in a demonstration project. The pharmacists treated 259 patients over one year and achieved state benchmark standards in caring for patients with diabetes and heart disease.
