Diagnosis Of Depressed-Type Early Gastric Cancer Facilitated By Optimal Band Imaging With Endoscopy
A study from the Jichi Medical University in Japan shows that optimal band imaging used with an endoscope provided images that clearly identified depressed-type early gastric cancer without magnification in 96 percent of study participants. The study appears in the February issue of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
