LDL Cholesterol Levels Associated With New Gene Locus
A new gene locus has been discovered that may be associated with levelsof low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol in the blood. This newfinding may aid the development of new drugs to fight cardiovasculardisease, according to an article published in the February 9 issue of TheLancet.
