Phase 1 Studies Show Promise Of QuatRx’s Novel Compound, Sobetirome, For Lowering LDL Cholesterol Levels

QuatRx Pharmaceuticals, a privately-held biopharmaceutical company developing compounds for the treatment of major endocrine, metabolic and cardiovascular diseases, announced results from two Phase 1 clinical studies with its novel lipid lowering compound, sobetirome (formerly QRX-431), in development for the treatment of elevated LDL cholesterol (also known as “bad cholesterol”) levels.
