Food Needs Persist In Cyclone Affected Areas In Bangladesh
A new United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) assessment shows that food remains the most urgent priority for many families in cyclone-affected areas. Households lack food reserves or sufficient income to pay for food in the aftermath of Cyclone Sidr, which swept through coastal Bangladesh late last year, killing more than 3,000 people.
