Largest Number Of Donors Ever Set Fund-Raising Record For UNFPA

2007 was another record year for UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, in terms of the financial support it has received from the international community. A total of 181 United Nations Member States contributed US$419 million to UNFPA’s regular resources-representing the highest number of donor nations and the largest amount of contributions to the Fund since it began operations in 1969.
