Health Select Committee Report On NICE, UK

In response to the report published by the Health Select Committee on NICE, Cancerbackup issues the following: “We welcome this report and its emphasis on taking into account quality of life as this is so important to cancer patients,” says Derryn Borley, Cancerbackup Head of Cancer Support Services. “We are particularly pleased that the committee has taken up one of Cancerbackup’s recommendations that the QALY threshold should be reviewed.
