UroToday.com- There has been significant decreases in the incidence of advanced stage breast, prostate, and colon cancer primarily from active cancer screening programs. Despite knowing the greatest risk factor for bladder cancer formation (smoking), there are no accepted screening recommendations for bladder cancer. These authors evaluated demographic changes at the time of presentation and mortality of patients with bladder cancer over an extended period in Florida.
