Portola Initiates Phase II Clinical Program In Heart Attack Patients With Its Novel Antiplatelet Agent, PRT060128

Portola Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced the initiation of a Phase II clinical trial of the intravenous (IV) formulation of PRT060128 in patients experiencing an ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), or heart attack. The trial, known as ERASE-MI, will enroll approximately 200 patients across North America and Europe.
