Asthma UK Comment On What Choices People With A Long-term Condition Need In Terms Of Primary Care
Neil Churchill, Asthma UK Chief executive says: ”If the Government’s policy on choice is to succeed, then it will need to reduce health inequalities by making sure that different options are open to everybody from all backgrounds, not just those who shout the loudest. It must ensure that patients are fully involved with the decisions that affect them, for example the best medicines and treatments for them, the way they access services and how their care is planned.
