There are many health benefits of quitting a smoking habit and a new study has proven that quitting can benefit your pocketbook as well. In the study appearing in the December issue of the American Journal of Public Health, a team of Australian researchers found that smoking could lead to living with financial stress, such as difficulty paying household bills and going without meals because of a shortage of money.
