Leading Cervical Cancer Charity “Absolutely Delighted” At HPV Immunisation Announcement, UK

The leading cervical cancer charity Jo’s Trust has responded to the announcement by the UK expert group on vaccines (the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation) that the Human papillomavirus vaccine that protects against the causes of cervical cancer should be offered to all girls up to 18 years of age. “I am absolutely delighted by the Committee’s statement that young women up to 18 years of age will be offered vaccination against HPV.
