Some experts will tell you that treating a severe burn is often more painful than the burn itself. Simply changing bandages can be agonizing for patients, especially children. Now one hospital has a new approach that helps children cope with their pain. Doctors encourage the kids to escape the realities of burn treatment by using something virtually every child can relate to. 14-year old Jarod Hoopes burned his foot over the summer.
