Imams Declare That Nicotine Patches Do Not Break The Fast

Religious leaders have declared that nicotine patches are permissible during the fasting period and have encourage Muslims to use them to stay smokefree. The East End Mosque in London and the NHS Asian Tobacco Helpline have advised Muslim smokers that using nicotine patches will not break the fast.
