The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is expanding its tools to improve documentation and coordination of cancer treatment and survivorship care by developing a chemotherapy treatment plan and summary template for breast cancer patients. Cancer is the number-one disease killer for people under age 85 in the United States. In 2007, more than 178,480 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 40,460 women will die from the disease. [click link for full article]
