Teenagers who text a lot find themselves recalling “textisms” better than real words. This is the finding of Dr Beverly Plester from Coventry University and is being presented on Wednesday 29 August 2007, at the British Psychological Society’s Developmental Section Annual Conference at the University of Plymouth Mobile phones are a must-have item for most people, with adolescents, and increasingly children, the fastest growing market.
